Wood County District Clerk

The District Clerk is the custodian of records for the 402nd Judicial District. While the County Clerk handles vital records and land, this office is the essential stop for Divorce Records and Civil Litigation.

  • The 1860 Collection: Remarkably, this office maintains a collection of Civil Case Papers dating back to 1860. Since many records were lost in the 1878 fire, these files are among the oldest surviving documents in the county.
